So you have an Apple credit card and want to learn the tips and tricks on attaining a higher credit limit?
The Apple credit card has been great at helping my credit score and purchasing needs. However, the original amount granted to me wasn’t enough to purchase a maxed-out MacBook Pro until now. The same procedures I outline below are what I did to get approved for a $1,500 credit limit increase.
Procedure:
- Make 20 purchase transactions within 30 days.
- Pay off the balance every month.
- Then request for credit limit increase a business day AFTER the billing cycle ends. So, if you receive your monthly statement, request a credit increase the next business day after that.
The goal here is to show them that you are using the card and can pay it off. I’ve heard this technique can be used as often as you desire.
One thing to remember is, those 20 transactions do not have to be a high purchase item, it can be 99 cents apps or songs if you truly desire. Just make sure if you choose to do this, you have the income to pay it off at the end of the month.
